I cant seem to access Home Template for Joomla. It keeps going back to Page not Found 404 Template. Is there something I have to enable first?

Hi,

Please refer to the article:
http://answers.themler.com/articles/36343/how-to-work-with-templates-in-joomla-themes

If that does not help, try to also switch off the plug-ins . If that also does not help, provide an access to the site back end so we could review the settings.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hello Tersia/ Hella, I have installed Themler locally for making Joomla Templates.

Also I can't succeed opening a "Home"Template. When i click on Home it autoimatically gets to the 404 page.

What can i do because the link above did not help me. It even looks like a different version I have got...

In addition to this problem I have got the following arror message: Server Permissions-Insufficient pertmissions (see attachment)

Best regards,

Remmert

Hi,

Please check the permissions as explained in the following link:
https://answers.themler.io/articles/65488/troubleshooting-read-first

As for the Home template, you need to open the Joomla admin panel and check that you have the proper menu assigned into the menu position. The proper menu is the one that includes the default Joomla menu item.

Sincerely,
Hella

I have the same problem.
By the way. I preferred Artisteer so much because I never had problems like this and it was possible edit articles without themler.
