What's Wrong with the Team behind Themler?

Dear Team
I've few questions, and hoping for clear answers.

  1. As there are no major changes/updates introduced in the beta update, why it is taking so much time to make it final.

  2. You took months from 353 to 358 (beta) and in a week you jumped to 364 (beta). Still no major feature updates or new functions added, kindly explain what is being fixed/added at this stage.

  3. In forums a lot of users including me have contributed with valuable suggestions and feedback. In almost all posts, Themler team replies like that "we have added it our wish list" ............... "that will be updated in next major version update"
and now you are saying "this is in our wish list but not in our roadmap"..... This means no new functions, features are going to be added in near future.

  4. You also announced closed beta testing program. Which means you are working on something else. I can imagine, you have stopped developing Current Themler branch and working on new Themler or Product (may be re-write from scratch or changing the way current Themler works)

  5. You have many times confirmed that you are working on a visual client editor (so the end user can edit pages in wordpress backend while keeping it compatible with Themler short code mechanism) but now you have stopped working on that too. This is a much needed function, kindly update the status regarding.

  6. My subscription expired few days ago and I will not renew it until I get clarification from themler team regarding themler future. Because the current situation is pretty similar to Artisteer status, where all users were complaining and Artisteer team was saying they are not abandoning it and they suddenly did it.

You should communicate with us on time and in a proper way.

Do not tire your friend, communication is not their strong point.

I have already tried to get these answers and I have never had them.

I do not even understand the people who still support Themler.

Dear Linkebel

That's strange in both ways.

Firstly, there are many users who are complaining, suggesting and wishing for new features, But most of them are not unite. Everyone would like to sail his/her boat instead of jumping in One Ship.
Unity makes us "We". and We "The Clients" are actually holding key for success for any business/product.

Secondly, there is a development team, that is capable of development, but they also have some management problems, and there are issues with product design and structure/foundation, which is letting them down now.

Artisteer was One of its Kind, but was ruined due to its structure. The way it was developed it couldn't be extended any further, so they decided to re-write the program.
When they re-wrote it, they named it as "Themler" and committed some old mistakes, which now prevents them to add new functions.
I am hoping either they are re-writing the program again.
Disappointment comes when Themler team keeps ignoring and refuses to reply or make false promises.

Qaaf Tech i agree with you, but how do you want to unite everyone, while some congratulates the Themler team for making an update after 7 months and continue to ask for features while most of the highly requested features do not Are not impenetated while the topics are a few years old now.

I let you see by yourself :http://answers.themler.com/questions/122312/themler-v-358-beta-update-2-march-2017?page=1

I get the impression that most people here are just amateurs, no serious company can work with such a product.

@Linkebel

I also have commented on the same topic and have provided with valuable suggestions, but none of them were resolved.

Hello,
I'm terribly sorry for delay in response.
We are working on another product, but we do not intent to stop support and improvement Themler. Currently we temporary stop creating and incorporating new features into Themler, and we're working on the improvement of existing functionalities and common stability. Each new feature brings some issues related to compatibility and production, thus we've made a decision to Šµemporarily suspend them.
We appreciate all customers comments and requests and adding them to the special wish list to return to them later. So we do not lost anything. Then we discuss new possible features taking into account users votes for them and move them to implementation plan. Unfortunately not all requested features are added to Themler, sometimes technical or compatibility issues arise.
The beta and final Themler updates takes significant time because changes and fixes often depend on each other and we need to collect all of them which are planned for certain update and test and several levels.
Thank you for all your comments you also post in the Themler update post.
Let us know if you have additional questions.

regards,
Aileen

Dear Aileen

I was so damn sure about the "New Product" thing. I hope that would be better than Artisteer and Themler.

But the question is why you need to develop a completely new product every few years, it's because of the basic foundation of your product(s).

I can only say for now that, don't repeat mistakes of Artisteer and Themler in your new product. All you need to do few things

  1. Don't create a product that covers all CMS(s), because that has put you down twice and will let you down again and again.

  2. Separate products into multiple CMS(s) versions, and assign a dedicated team of developers to it, so they can only focus on their relevant product. This will help you add new features in less time and quicker bug fixes. (though the developers can share their time/experience with the others too)

  3. Before releasing the product, first release it to us, as Alpha, Beta, Release Candidate, so we all can test it and provide you with actual feedback.

  4. I know you are good at programming, you already have built two state-of-the art products, but your company lacks the customer relationship. Most of the time, feedback is ignored and you resist to admit your faults. If you overcome these issues, you will be market leader.

  5. Design the product while keeping in mind a common user, what a user will do with end result (final website). Themler is good at designing a website, but it seriously is not a choice for end user, because once the website is online, there is no way to handle it properly without using themler itself. That is a major draw back of themler. You need to consider end product and then design your coding mechanism.

I hope you will listen this time and let's be us. When you start thinking of us and you as we, then everything will be fine, otherwise after a year or two end results will be like Artisteer and as of Themler.

Thank you for the answer Aileen

Understand that lack of communication is a big hindrance.

We do not doubt your programming capabilities but the lack of clarity does not inspire confidence.

I hope that in the future you will pay more attention to this.

Good continuation in your new product.

I wanted to buy Themler, before I have read the Forum. Now, after this topic, I am sure that I will not buy Themler.

Is there a Roadmap, when the new product will be released, or does the community recommend another framework?

Thank you
Paul

Hello guys,
thank you all for your feedback. I see the ideas provided by Qaiser Ikram and we consider them useful. I'll pass your comments to our team.

As for roadmap or estimated release dates for the next Themler final, I'm really sorry but I cannot provide any precise info about it.

regards,
Aileen
