As i want my magento 1.9 eCommerce website to be more user friendy and have latest technology. I also want my customers to have a smooth shopping experience. Will the migration from 1.9 to 2.0 be helpful to my website?

Of course, Magento 2 will surely help you and your customers with smooth experience, speedy in performance and the most important thing is the latest technologies M2 is using. Although it required some hard work and custom development to setup, in the end, you will stand with the remarkable thing that you could ever imagine.

Migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2 require excellent technical skills so I would suggest you to visit the below blog post and read the most important aspects of migration. Please have a look:

The eCommerce space is highly competitive and in order to stay at least one step ahead of your competitors you need to keep your eCommerce platform updated.

Therefore, considering Magento 2 Upgrade is a wise decision on your part to future-proof your web shop by providing it new capabilities to fulfill growing demands of your customers.

Moreover, this news is very much in the air that Magento would stop supporting Magento 1 after November 18, 2018. This infers that your e-store will no longer get the security patches critical to safeguard it from cyber exploits.

We live in an age where cyber attacks are rampant and continuing to use Magento 1 would be synonymous to inviting robbers to break into your e-store.

Another compelling reason for you to upgrade your eCommerce store to Magento 2 is the platform enhancements brought in by the new version. This means that by postponing Magento 2 Migration you are missing out on many benefits, including:

• Advanced SEO capabilities that can boost your online store’s visibility.
• Upgrades in mobile browsing can lead to increase in store traffic via mobile devices.
• Streamlined checkout can reduce cart abandonment rates.
• Simplified admin navigation and administration for multiple users.
• Performance enhancements enabling Magento 2 stores to handle 39% more orders per hour.

That’s not all! Many early-movers have leveraged the stunning capabilities of this robust and flexible platform to gain sustainable competitive advantage for their businesses.

Why are you stopping your business from harnessing these benefits?

I hope this answers your question!
