Themler are dead? Can not solve the problems, bugs?

In the forums here in Brazil nobody else wants to buy THEMLER, everyone says THEMLER is dead, can not solve the bugs.

The official Facebook group has not been updated since 2015, is this a problem that should be solved?

I wanted to renew my subscription, but I will wait to see if THEMLER improves service and solve problems.

I think sad, but the users are right, a great sadness. Then, activate the artisteer's return.

Hi,

Sorry for such impression. For now we are working on a new product and that's why implementing new features in Themler is stopped for some time. But we constantly update the application with the bug fixes. We hope that we could come back to implement new Themler features soon.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi Hella,

As per my knowledge you are trying to build a page builder not a theme designer software. So, I think that product also not get popularity & you need more than 1 year to complete that product I think. So, what we will do who use themler? When every month come new version for almost all cms then you support 1 year or 2 years ago cms version. For example for last 1 year I can see Drupal 8 beta version, I do not know when it will be stable, how funny??

Thank you
Benjamin

PHP Memory Configuration Error

The error has been known since April 2017, I reported it many times (Drupal 7)
(start here: https://answers.themler.io/questions/128105/themler-v-367-update-20-april-2017/128595#post-128595 )

This error is caused not by hosting, but by Themler, because:
- the old versions of Themler on this hosting work without problems,
- Support fixed a bug on one of the sites when I granted access.
A patch update is not released, support does not tell how to fix this error yourself. It's impossible to work, I have to move sites to local hosting for editing.

I also ended the subscription three days ago, and instead of prolonging it and working, I for the tenth time ask you to pay attention to the problem and solve it!

Hi Hella,

I think, the new product you are working on, is the wrong direction. I've played around with it and must say, it's far behind compared with a lot of similar apps you find in the web. The number of this kind of "page builder" grows every month and many of them are free to use. I don't think, that you can make a lot of money with this kind of software.

On the other hand, Themler is an outstanding product to build themes for Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal and so on. I've tried many other Themebuilder especially for Joomla (I make mainly Joomla Websites for my customers) and none of them are as good as Themler. If you have the proper skills you can do everything with Themler - even solve the bugs, that your programmers don't solve ;-)

I would find it very unfortunate, if Themler would not be further developed. The change from Artisteer to Themler was a great step forward, but now you go backwards again.

Just my opinion ...

In my opinion, we can not expect Themler to add new features every month. Microsoft does not do this with any product. Each update to MS is also only to fix errors and close security gaps.

Themler is a very good product and gives a web designer a powerful tool. Of course, it is not yet perfect, but I think it will. For refinements, the developer just has to rely on his knowledge and even times even a bit of code and I think that is reasonable.

Everyone here wants to be more or less a professional, but somehow I have the feeling that here sometimes only wailing amateurs Themler use, because they apparently without Themler are not able to bring something to accomplish.

Please excuse my open words, but I'm tired of the fact that everyone here is always complaining about how bad Themler is. If it is too bad, then they should go and those who bring reasonable suggestions for improvement and point to important bugs do not annoy.

I personally wish they would focus on Themler and promote it not try to bite off more than they have now. It's always something. Why can't they just make Themler the best and promote it? Honestly, they barely even market Themler so it's strange they want a second product to keep up with.

Themler has amazing potential, but remains a bit rough around the edges. Please focus on polishing, promoting, and extending this platform and don't get distracted with anything else.

Listen to your market--invest all your energy here!

Almost all users complain that Themler does not solve the problems, and they are brave, and rightly, to pay 200 dollars a year and continue with so many problems, I know it is discouraging. I did not renew my signature and do not think of it as soon as I do, until Themer starts to pay attention to the problems of the users and solve. I, like many users here, have clients, and I can not wait 2 months on the clients' website to solve problems that theyler caused. So paying 200 dollars a year is very expresive, the support to develop themler is weak and does not work right

200 Dollars a year is very expresive

My suggestion for this moment is that themer will lower the value for those who have already been a customer, or in renewal.
This is a good solution for continuing with users and returning old users to the site.
Who is satisfied paying $ 200 a year and not being able to work right because of themelr bugs? How many times a month do they happen? With each update of 10 bugs, another 20 appear to tidy up.

49 dollars for year is good, because bug and more bugs the themler

You do not pay Microsoft each year just to fix bugs. It is all we see for more than year now, more or less.
Bugs are problem of Themler developers, they broke it, they have to fix it. I personally do not experience those updates as real updates, no matter what these words mean.

Besides under 2017 were several major Win 10 updates, not only security patches and bug fixes. But irrelevant, stupid to compare Themler and Windows anyway.

One of the grove mistakes this company did is when they walked away from promise of SDK/API. They coud tie whole big community of third party coders, developers, and users via it.

But Artisteer was then standalone product, not dependent of saving, exporting via their servers. And they were selfish, big time. Greedy allways hits back in software world.

We went from "should I get a couple more licenses for the rest of the team" last year to probably regretting a single license renewal. Does 2-3 years count as "some time"?

Excellent answer
Themler is not microsoft
Themler charges every year, microsoft does not cash every year

This question topic should be set in the forum.
An evaluation of themler users.
Of course this will never be done because it is difficult to hear the truth, and it is better that the new users do not know what it is like in the aftermath of the day.

Regrettable, and those in charge of the support do not manifest themselves. It will not be surprising if this topic is closed to no longer show the errors.

It's rather silly to compare this to Microsoft. Really? Let's get real here. Everyone is moving to a subscription based system even Microsoft, yes Microsoft Office is like this. So you do pay them each year. They also get paid for all new computers sold. Again, you can't compare apples to cantaloupes.

Themler should listen to their users, BUT there are too many requests for too many things. As long as they continue to support the 3 major CMS and HTML platform and stay up with them I will support them.

If they want to make more money from this they need to market the program better. They don't and perhaps now it's time.

Keep up the good work and please ignore the ridiculous statements about pricing. The program is NOT expensive for what it does. I think it's a steal with the images and all it does.

I think it's expensive, I'm not interested in images, I want the program so it's expensive yes ... After all, what do they sell in the signature, the images and the themer comes free? No, they sell the themler and the images come "free" then the pictures are not in question. The issue here is the themler being dead, and at the beginning since post support said they are working on a new program. I am not stupid, not understanding this, and also many of those who answered this topic as well. I am exposing the current reality of themler, which is difficult to be changed.

Well my view is much different and I have no issues with them currently. They have fixed my major issue with Joomla with the latest Beta version. Support is always helpful and I think does more than most for the price point. I am always amazed how far they go to help you figure something out.

It's all relative I suppose. I'd pay more if they raised the price. Worth every penny.

DaveOzric,

I understand you.
You talk like that because you had your problem solved, and that's fair to say.
But whoever has no problem solved should complain. I do not say that there are no problems, of course problems will always appear. The fact is in being able to solve the problems, bugs, or not solve. I am one who had unresolved problems, were not satisfactory.

I'm not here to defend or even to end the company. But at the current time I've been looking for other alternatives, I still like them, so I'm writing to see if there is a change, a solution, a cry for help from users.

I have had very few bugs that prevented me from doing my work. They seem to fix critical bugs rather quickly. At least for Joomla which is what I use. No clue about WP or Drupal so I cannot talk to that.

I am just saying for the price there is nothing like it.

Hello the community,
I join this discussion because since the beginning I have been working with Artisteer and themler. I have created more than 4000 themes
For my part I find that you are very hard with this company.
The work of the webmaster must be to report the bugs so that the programmer can do their job.
In the case of contarire I advise you to learn programming or you turn to another solution but this does not currently exist.

The price of the subscription 200euros is not expensive in view of the prices practiced by the webmasters

Themler is top of the line!

Thanks Themler for your job !!!

I also agree that Themler is an amazing platform and I want so badly to see it excel and succeed over the long haul. I would hate to see this product fall by the wayside.

If the new page builder that's being developed is 100% compatible with Themler's built-in page building features, but would allow my clients to update page content on their sites without a Themler login, then I'm cheering for that as well!
