When visiting a post, my logo and home URLs are different to the rest of the site. Rather than pointing to the home page they point to "/Blog".

Can this be fixed?

Hi,

What exactly CMS are you using?
The Logo control has a Link option on its tab in Themler. Please config the proper link and let us know the result.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hello Olivia,

It is just a static html site.

The url for the logo looks to be correct inside Themler and it works on every other page. It is just when viewing the post in a browser that it forces "/Blog".

This directs to a 404 as that page does not exist.

Here is a screenshot of my logo url settings: https://i.imgur.com/Rg2VdEk.png

Kind regards,

Mike

My "home" menu button also takes you to /Bolg when viewing the post in the browser.

Hi,

Looks like your logo link is configured to go one page back from any page and that forces the Blog page to be opened when you press Logo on the post page. If you need the logo to go to the Home page, simply remove all the characters from the link option in the Logo settings.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hello Hella,

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately this doesn't solve my problem. The reason "./" was used for the logo is because, when empty, the logo was always pointing to the current page url. E.g. the logo on the "about" page pointed to the "about" page.

Kind regards,

Mike

Hello Hella,

Should I assume it is best not to work on my theme until I hear from you?
Not sure if I will be importing the fixed theme or if fixes are made to themler?

Kind regards,

Mike

Hi,

In the attached theme the Link parameter is empty and I suggest you to enter the dull URL of the Home page that will be on the live site. So simply enter the domain name there.

Sincerely,
Hella

Thanks,

Mike

Hi,

No, if you add the full static link, it will be working fine on any page.

I understand. I assume this may cause some issues in live preview. However, I am satisfied with this solution. Thank you, Hella, for your support.
