Hi,

For now we cannot provide any exact date for the new release. We are preparing a new software and for some time developing of the new features for Themler is stopped. But we still release the new bug fixes.

Sincerely,
Hella

themler has a very high level of customization, even if it is not easy to use, once learned allows you to do everything, I hope that it does not do the end artisteer, because there's nothing similar is really high level, I am sorry in many people have not understood it.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback. We do not have plans to cancel Themler, but for some time we would not have new features, but we'll come back later.

Sincerely,
Hella

Exactly! Just need to change marketing:

  • Themler - professional tool for web developers (basic skills required)

  • uPage - easy to use web page generator for all (no skills required)

Upage will never replace Themler. This doesn't mean it will be continued. I get the feeling they want money and Themler is not making them money. So if Upage takes off then will they continue Themler? Support says yes, I believe they said this about Artisteer too.

So Themler, why will continue developing Themler even if Upage is very popular? Can you answer this?

BTW, I'm tried uPage with Joomla plugin and there no Joomla Positions and Posts support - right?
Only possibility to grab data (#joomla-postsSourceDesc) to generate static content.

@DaveOzric , you are right uPage will never replace the Themler. Also, upage is a page builder that I can see & can generate only body content currently, there have no usable option to making header & footer. I think they will make another mistake.

The question is not what is uPage - it's clear. This is page builder like many other SaaS solutions (and many SaaS solutions now better that uPage on current stage). Main feature of uPage - generate content from link (from other website, from social profile etc.). It's all for very lazy users who want did one click and get all :)

The question about Themler future and new features. Now there is no roadmap....

but for some time we would not have new features, but we'll come back
later

When it will be? In this year or in 1 quarter of 2018? Or in 2020 :)

As the head of a company that makes software, I can tell you for sure that when a new product is made by our team that makes money, and is easy to support... any other 'similar' versions, be it direct IP's or not, would be discontinued. Though in Themler's case uPage seems to be based on the same 'core' and it's likely we'll see Themler's team port new features from uPage. But aside from that, I personally see the development going no further.

Kind of a shame really, but that's how these things work.

Jordan.

Wondering what's going to happen to Themler? All one has to do is look at the state of Artisteer and the Artisteer forums to see what's in store for Themler.

Artisteer has been completely ignored for years. Even though there are people keeping their subscriptions up to date. This doesn't seem to count for anything...except discounts on Themler and uPage.

The Artisteer forums are full of spam. It would take no more than 10 minutes to delete it all but no, nothing is done. I guess it's too much work to delete a bunch of spam messages.

The way Artisteer has been treated doesn't give me confidence for the future of Themler.

Remember, they stopped work on Artisteer to built Themler and they never went back. Now they're stopping work on Themler to work on uPage. Do you really think they'll go back?

Personally, I don't mind because I'm never going to use Themler but uPage is interesting and something I might sign up for once it's out of beta. Or if they offer at a 50% discount. Then I might be willing to try the beta.

My subscription will be due in a short time, I am going to have to have a very long hard think whether it will be worth it for my to re subscribe, I currently have the top package.

As it is Themler is working with my cms of choice, Wordpress/Woocommerce and the subscription fee makes a few bug fixes without any forward development not worth it for me in my current mind set. I was a long term user of Artisteer and noticed a familiar pattern happening here.

Themler is very good at it's job once you get to grips with it and is very flexible and powerful, uPage in it's current incarnation looks almost toylike, or similar to a mobile phone app, I love the way with Themler that I can style almost every option in my themes.

IMHO what would have made more sense for the Themler team would have been to develop a page builder that works (only on pages and posts) hand in hand with Themler for developers to sell (possibly for a small commission?) to their clients. Most of the code would already be there so no where near as much work as the complete change of direction that uPage is. The Beaver Builder team have the basic page builder for free, the pro version with a lot more bells and whistles and then the Theme builder as well as the new products that they are actively developing to work with the entire system and they seem to be doing very well for themselves with it. This is what I think I may be moving onto as I am already familiar with their pagebuilder.

They keep saying they are not going to stop Themler, but I think they used to say that about Artisteer?

Support team, can you explain why you are not going to abandon Themler?

Hi,

We stopped the development of Artisteer because it reached its peak and it was difficult to develop it and make it create modern themes without rewriting Artisteer from scratch. We decided to try to rewrite it and we made Themler in the end. Themler is more powerful, it creates modern themes and it can be developed in the easier way than Artisteer. Artisteer is old-school and limited in functionality. With Themler you can do almost anything if you know how. Themler has a future.

Thank you,
Olivia
