Help with blog posts/template (WP site)... if I edit fake posts it deletes template layout posts

When I select a blog template, it places in fake posts, and then I can design how I want the blog feed to look... but then when I delete those fake posts in WP, it deletes them in Themler and I cannot see the design of the page anymore when I go to edit or preview it because it doesn't show my real posts unless I go to the live website link... I don't know why Themler won't either recognize my real posts or why it can't remember the layout from the fake posts on that Posts page so I can edit it.

Help! Thanks :)

Hi,

Make sure that you have the Blog page inside your site. Note, the Blog template is used for the page that is set to be the page with your posts in WP settings (when the front page is set to be the static page). In case the front page is set to be the page with the posts, then you need to style the Home template. Please refer to this article:

that's not the issue... the posts page is assigned correctly. But when I delete the fake posts from the template (the ones that were inserted when I selected that template), it says the page is not found in Themler when I go to edit that page (where it was showing the fake posts before, never real posts there). If I view the actual site, the posts work, but there's no way to edit the page design/layout without having the fake posts in there. See screenshot attached of what happens after the fake posts are deleted

Hello,

Please try to select either of your created posts in Themler in the left panel or from the blog page with right click >> Open Link. What template opens with this post?

Sincerely,
Nettie,
