I am hesitant to get excited but would welcome even bootstrap 4? I am just curious what they (Themler) think.

The questions is: will the developers back to Themler when Nicepage will be done and stable?

I started to test Nicepage to help them, but I need to get answer for question above, as I test Nicepage with one reason: in order to developers come back to Themler when NP will be finished.

BillionDigital, please, share some of your plans.

Joomla 4 could possibly be supported well past 2025. As should be obvious, this is a substantial time span to help software, particularly Full Essay Writing software whose basic role is constructing and overseeing sites.

Thank you for your spam. Maybe Themler team will pay attention to this topic. What do you think? )

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. It is vacation time :-) Therefore some delays may happen.
About Joomla 4 and Bootstrap 4. We plan to support Joomla 4, yes. Joomla is one of the major CMS supported by Themler. But is there really point in supporting Bootstrap 4 at this time? Themler works with bootstrsp 3 framework and provides a lot of own improvements including grid improvements. Therefore, if the current grid is usable then there is no point in moving to another framework which is quite new at this time. Unfortunately moving to another framework in Themler will require a lot of modifications. Really a lot of modifications. How much Bootstrap 4 is important to you? What major features it provides which are not available in Bootstrap 3 and you cannot continue your work without them?
We are watching Bootstrap 4 development and will reconsider supporting Bootstrap 4 in Themler in the future. But currently we're focused on Nicepage and we do not plan to make major changes in Themler core.

Thank you,
Olivia

So how is Nicepage coming along? As far as Nicepage is concerned how will this be rendered in the database of Joomla? When I build a page with Themler the shortcode shows up in my search component which is so very bad for the results page of a search. A page builder needs to save to the database the textual content without the shortcodes so a search only shows text.

Hi Dave,

As far as Nicepage is concerned how will this be rendered in the database of Joomla?

The Nicepage content is stored as html. Therefore you will see a plain text in search results.

If you want to try Nicepage please contact Nicepage support.

Thank you,
Olivia

How far along is this product? Does it work seamlessly with Themler?

I feel it may be the best way to possibly build custom pages but does it add a ton of overhead to the pages?

You are going to keep both products for the long haul, correct?

Thank you

Hi,

Nicepage and Themler are two different applications. But they are doing the same things but on different levels, Nicepage is more simple and is it more content builder than theme editor. I suggest that you simply try Nicepage so wee what I mean. Nicepage created content can work together with Themler or any other theme.

Nicepage created content can work together with Themler or any other
theme.

Can you describe this process in more details or share a link to docs or video?

I can create theme in Themler but content from Nicepage can put to Themler's green area? So all of Nicepage content will be stored in articles in shortcodes? Or where this content will be?

Interesting solution, I would like to know more about possibilites and variation of usage Themler + Nicepage.
Please share some examples as well )

Me too, how does this work? Shortcode is not friendly with the Joomla search function.

Hi,

You can create a theme in Themler. Do not edit the content. Install that Themler theme on your site. Then upload the Nicepage plug-in for your CMS. The Nicepage plug-in will appear in your site back end and all the pages and articles will have the Edit in Nicepage button. That button will open the article in the Nicepage builder and there you could add the content easily.
Feel free to try the Nicepage demo to see what I was talking about.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hello Themler, what is your plan for Joomla 4?

What does the update require on your end? Bootstrap 4 and...?

Do you have to update to Bootstrap 4 as I was told BS is not backward compatible.

Thank you
