Hello,

Please follow the steps below:
1. Backup all theme folders somewhere on your computer if there are any. The path is shown in the Theme Management screen after selecting some CMS, for example, C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_xxxxxxxxx\wordpress.
2. Uninstall Themler completely and also check the box for "Remove all CMS content".
3. Check if the following folders are still present:

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Themler
    C:\ProgramData\Themler
  1. If they exist, remove them.
  2. Reboot the machine after uninstalling Themler, so that all Themler services are removed for sure.
  3. Temporarily disable antivirus and firewall.
  4. Download latest version of Themler for Windows from themler.io, install it and try to start with Themler HTML project.
Please let us know the result.

I have followed your directions to a T but I am still unable to open any html themes. Can you explain how to add the theme after the latest version of Themler is downloaded.

Sorry, I might have misunderstood your issue. I thought the issue happens when you start themler -> select HTML on the start window.

Could you, please, explain in more details when the issue happens?
If you are tryig to open particular html themes, please, specify which ones.

Thank you

You are correct the issue is when I start themler. My question is after I follow the directions set forth how do I then re-upload my themes without getting the same error message?

If you want to open templates created before, you need to make sure you export the template including Themler Editor and Content:

export.png

Or you can just Save under File -> Save.

I am not clear on your directions so maybe I need ask my question a different way.

I backed up all of my theme folders as instructed. Now that I have downloaded the updated themler how do I re-upload/import the old previous themes to the new updated themler and not receive the same error message.

Hello,

The recommended way would be to zip-compress each theme, and then import it using Import from Zip option in Themler, then save. And so for all themes.

Sincerely,
Nettie

Thank you for your response.

I have zip-compressed my theme and when I import the theme I can see a thumbnail of my theme appear. Before I can click the thumbnail I receive the error message "Sorry, an error has occurred. Please clear your browser cache."

What can I do to get rid of this error message?

Hello,

Have you tried to import from zipusing the option in the Theme Management screen? Please try to do this in a bit different way: open a new theme. If it opens all right, then please go to File >> Import from Zip and try to import one of your themes. Please let us know the result.

Sincerely,
Nettie

Thank you for the suggestion.

I tried importing the theme from the Untitled theme but still receive an error message.

Please see the attached images.

Is there a way that I can edit my theme outside of Themler? Because, for some reason I keep getting the same error message.

Could you, please, attach that Untitled theme here?

Thanks
