Can you post an image so i can understand what is the exact setup of your header and menu? maybe it will help me see..

also, try with a bigger z-index for the menu, it should work, but maybe your theme is configured a little bit different?

Hi,

eric4, I see you chose the ribbon, and you put a index of 5, which is on the menu that you need to index greater than zero, in this case 5.

For me it worked only when the menu was freely dragged, like my image.. but than the menu needs to be in a box, and that the ribbon will be in the same box, than it works for me.
also, i just tried again, and i had to put the ribbon in z-index : 0 , without it it didn't work also... maybe this helps also.
eric4 , try to put both the menu and the ribbon and see if they are in the same box, if not, it may not work. i didn't check the ribbon in responsive though, but i added for you another image so you see the hierarchy of the elements, and the z-index of the ribbon, and not only the menu, maybe now it will work for you.

I checked for you and the ribbon does seem to be responsive, just put it on width:100%
it worked for me...
also, like stagger suggested, use the absolute... i used the menu and put it absolute in header, and it worked without all the need of editing the z-index stuff.

but, i did found a bug, the fold of the ribbon will vanish, and nothing can bring it back... i think i will write this for themler team so they can check it out.

i hope you can now use at least one of the methods to achieve what you need...

Yes, one row as container for both is needed. And padding, margin to 0 to all, to prevent some browsers play its own game.

Still need some tutorial about it. Themler screen shows different than same browser screen. It means difficult to style when menu goes outside in Themler and for instance doesnt have background color, text is not visible.

But in Chrome and Firefox all looks good.

Hi!

Regarding placing the menu above the ribbon. You can indeed use the solution you have found. Also in the video it is seen how to make the same with the z-index properties:

As for the bugs found, please create a separate case so we could not mess the stuff here. We'll look into it.

Sincerely,
Hella
