Client Updated Wordpress - Themler Can't Load

Hi guys,

We had a client update their Wordpress from 4.9.0 to 5.1.1
The site had Themler Version 450 installed

Now when trying to launch Themler, the system gives a warning notice:
"Sorry, an error has occurred. Please clear your browser cache."

After clearing, a window alert pops up with the domain name and says "Retry?", and then gives the same error.

What's the best way of getting things back on track for the client?

Hello,

The fact is that the latest version of Themler supports Wordpress 5, but the earlier versions don't. Please try to export (if possible) or copy and .zip the theme, then import it in Themler desktop, update to the latest version, export it after this, install and activate on the website.

Sincerely,
Nettie

Can't export as Themler can't load to start the export of the zip :(

If I run a normal theme export (outside of Themler) and overwrite files on a local desktop, would that work?

I know I have a backup of the site, and I can load that up on a testing server too, I'm just trying to avoid that route at the moment as I believe there were other pages edited in the theme that are not in the backup.
