Having purchased the full version of Themler, you would expect the Themes to work out of the box exactly as the so called Live Preview does. I downloaded two themes and tried them both in Joomla and Desktop Themler and neither of them looked anything like the so called Live Preview.

The Ahead theme looks stunning on Live Preview but load it up to Joomla and none of the spining squares on the front page are there and no documentation is available to show you how to make it work or edit it. Pull the same template in to Desktop Themler and the nice parts of the theme have gone, so I have to ask myself what is the point of Themler nothing works as described and the interface looks simple but the program is not as good as the Artisteer

Sorry, but artisteer can not do even half of the wonders that can be done with themer, I have worked for over two years with artisteer and now that management themler not return never to artisteer, everything you see in themler examples you can do and much more, you only need to have a little knowledge of HTML, CSS and PHP, apply in themler and see the wonderful tool that becomes for your work. Regards.

There is no possibility to export sample data with Themler template for Joomla. There is a way to do this for Wordpress and we are working on this possibility for Joomla.

Then a simple answer is not to show, spinning boxes and the like in the live previews if that is not part of the template, or at the very least give instructions on how that effect is obatined after you have installed the template in to Joomla.. Without the spinning boxes the Ahead theme is just a menu and a background.... so what the point.

Hi,

To see how that content was added, you can go to the Joomla admin panel, find the photos module under the Module Manager and see the HTML source. Then also have a look to the CSS styles that are app;lied to that HTML. The styles are inserted under the Settings >> Additional CSS in Themler.

Sincerely,
Hella

I have ordered Themler Pro this month and I had to think several times about whether I wanted to buy it because it looks so good ... Now that I've bought it I already regret it.

I have created and saved a theme for WP several times, but it disappears every time. If you start via WP Themler, everything goes online via the server. Your own desktop version is then not even used. If you use the desktop version, you can start using Themler WP, but it often goes wrong.

The changes are all lost again and I can start again. Also import / export doens't work perfectly. I think that's there is still a lot or work to do. Maybe Windows users have no problems, but I use MAC. And it is very, very slow, because all the things you do goes through the server.

Hi,

You installed the desktop version, created the theme, saved it and it was not saved? Without any error message? That is strange. Maybe you could try to export it and see if the changes are saved in the exported theme. Also what issues with the import function do you have?
In any case, working on the live site is better as you work with the live content and you could see the changes on the live site with the current content. The desktop version is more for designing the theme and not for working with the content.
Please describe your issues in more details.

Sincerely,
Hella
