Hello,

Please make sure the theme was exported with "Include Themler" option enabled. If not, it can be installed, but cannot be further edited in Themler.
Other variant would be, in case you have created a theme with Themler desktop, to find this theme locally with a path like C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_xxxxxxxxx\joomla

Sincerely,
Nettie

It wasn't exported, i never do. That increases the zip size significantly. templates were created with desktop app

Hello Wim,

If Themler Editor wasn't included in the theme, this theme wouldn't open in Themler.
Have you found a copy of the theme on local drive as Nettie suggested?

Sorry for the delay.
If the theme was exported without Themler Editor included, there is no way to open it again in Themler.
I was hoping that you have original theme under ..themler_xxxx\joomla\templates (not the copy from ftp).
You either need to have exported theme with Themler Editor included or saved theme in Themler format (as you get when you go to File -> Save). No other file can be opened back with Themler.
