Hello,

I try to understand why, with "Themler desktop" it is not possible to import a Joomla template made with Artisteer. I know it is possible to export for Wordpress. Pardon the following commentary, but you are working on this program for 3 years, and with Artisteer, it is possible to export for a single CMS!

I just finished a site made with Joomla, and if I want to support the new features offered by Themler, I have to start from scratch for my template, unless I misunderstood.

Thank you

Hi again,

I just saw that the last update supports Joomla, maybe I'm too fast! I try to import my template in Themler desktop.

In Artisteer.4.3.0.60818 if I export as Zip Joomla, an error message says "Import fail, only themler themes are supported" and if I export in Zip Themler, an error message tells me "Import fail, joomla themes are only supported"

I am caught in a Mobius strip

Thanks

Hello

To import Artistere Joomla template into Themler please follow thisi steps:

  1. Download the latest Artisteer 4.3.0.60858 and install
  2. open your joomle Artisteer project in Artisteer and export it as Themler Joomla theme:
    joomla-export.png

You will achieve a regular Themler theme for Joomla which can be later opened in Themler using Import from ZIP option:
    import-theme.png

Please let us know if you need our further assistance here.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hi,

Thank you, I looked on the site Artisteer, if a new version was available, but had found nothing, and as the program uses the internet to export, I thought that the program would even make it to update.

Hello

We provided a link to download the new Artisteer update with Themler export in each article about supporting Joomla Artisteer themes in Themler and in my previous reply.

Anyway, did you try the new Artisteer update? Does it work for you?

Thank you,
Olivia

This did not work for me. I created a whole new template with the newest version of Artisteer and still get the message
"Not Found
The requested URL /themler_1329780648/joomla\administrator/index.php was not found on this server."
Yet it does show up when I try to press the back button and I end up back at the Joomla Themler editing portal. I can see the template in the thumbnails, as well as the Recent Themes list when I re start Themler. (I can not get back to Themler itself without closing the tab and re-opening Themler) This is all very frustrating.

Hi,

The problem seems to occur when the template is exported from Artisteer without content. Please use the Include Content checkbox when exporting from Artisteer meanwhile.
Our developers will look into the issue.

Hello,

I installed this morning the empty template with Artisteer exported with the content. When I wanted to edit it, here's what I see. Then once in Themler, this is what happens.

Thank you

Hi Serge,

Actually, you just need to run Themler and apply available update.
This should fix the issue.

Thanks,
Ivan

I AM exporting with content checkbox included. I still get the message "Not Found
The requested URL /themler_1329780648/joomla\administrator/index.php was not found on this server."
After getting this message, when I try to click the back button to try to return to Themler, but it takes me to the joomla template manager warning me that "empty password not allowed and an error saying I am not permitted to use that link to directly access that page". There is absolutely NO way to get back to the Themler interface without just closing out the browser and re-opening Themler!
I give up. Themler is just not worth the headache. I surely hope Artisteer will still be available for those of us who do not want to mess with Themler.

To boneal80: if possible please attach here the zip file with the theme.

To bummm : please enable error reporting in Joomla >> System >> Global Configuration >> Server >> Error Reporting = Development (or Maximum). Then try to install the theme again. In case you get an error post here its full text.

regards,
Aileen

I followed the instructions for importing a simple Artisteer template to Themler and it did not work:
"Import Failed only Joomla Themler's themes are supported"
I'm using Artisteer 4.3.0.60858 exporting a simple Joomla template with a minimun content

It is ridiculous that this company does not send an acknowledgment of reception the messages that were sent to it and doesn't have a telephone to collect the requests of its clients.
Plus the email published on the web site info@themler.io in the section about us, is rejecting the emails
