Right now the Analytics code may be placed into the Settings -> Additional Head HTML.

Hella,

Once the code is inserted into Settings > Additional Head HTML, how long will it take for the analytics code to appear in the source of the pages?

I've tried adding the code several times to various sites, and it seems to take an inordinate amount of time to appear. I added it to a site about 10 minutes ago, but there is still nothing.
In other sites I noticed that it took a few minutes, but I don't remember if I did something that "helped it along". I'm going to try to refresh the site cache within Joomla and see if that helps.

If I add it directly into the Templates > home_1.php file it appears immediately. But that's only for the index page. And, if the template is updated from Themler, the code is removed.

Has Themler not been able to figure out a method that will retain the analytics code in order to remain in the template through updates?

Thanks.
Thomas

Hi,

The code should appear in the time you add it and publish the theme. Please consider clearing the site cache as the theme code is updated immediately.

Sincerely,
Hella
