I really see the need te save the templates to a custom location.

Where can i find the project files ??
What if i wont to backup my source files or reopen them on my laptop ?

Vote to pay developers attention to this features or issue.

Hi,

You mean the templates that are saved in the desktop version? They are saved in the Downloads folder by the default. To change that path, right click on the Themler top bar, choose the Open browser window option, then in the new window go to Settings >> Show Advanced Settings >> Downloads and choose the new folder or use the Ask where to save option.

That is not what i mean, How can i save a temlplate from my desktop to continue editing it from my laptop ?

For example artisteer has .artx source files. How is this in themler ?

Hi,

You can download the template as .zip and then import that .zip file in the application on your laptop.

Hi,

I have a feeling there is some work ahead before themler is going to be as successful ad artisteer.

The product has allot of potential, and give you more freedom then artisteer, but at the moment, i find it very hard to work with.

I just exported a theme as zip, when i try to import this theme themler message is "only themler themes are supported "

And where does it save to? The older version I could find it, updated and god knows where the zip is, all i now have is a Themler white screen of death.
I think this program needs some work, beta or alpha still?

Please attach that .zip file so we could test and let us know what CMS type you have used.

Please create a private topic and attach the log file from the Start >> Themler >> Themler Diagnostics Tool. Also describe in more details what the steps were performed before the white screen appeared.
Regarding the saving path, please follow the instructions from my first post in this case.

Hello,
the theme was saved without option 'Include Themler for customizing this theme' enabled.
Unfortunately this theme cannot be opened in Themler anymore. That's why you get the warning message "only themler themes are supported "

Hello

Please follow the next steps to fox it on your side:

  • Download the latest Themler Desktop from our website.
  • Copy C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_[numbers]\drupal\sites\all\themes\ to your hard drive to make a backup.
  • Install the latest Themler update with "Remove CMS Content" option enabled.
    Please note that this option will remove CMS content too.
  • Launch Themler Desktop and start Drupal
  • Upload backups of the themes to C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_[numbers]\drupal\sites\all\themes\
  • open the following URL in browser and clear cache:
    http://127.0.0.1:12080/themler_[numbers]/drupal/admin/config/development/performance
    Please note that you should replace themler_[numbers] with real directory name.
  • Re-start Themler.

You should now see all your themes. Please let us know if permissions issue continues.
