Hello Themler Team.

Thanks for all your great work!
I have a wish for future updates.
Please add an off-canvas menu, especially for the responsive menu modes.

Here is a clean example of that that uses bootstrap 3 , so maybe you can see how to use this type of menu in themler:

https://jasny.github.io/bootstrap/examples/navmenu-reveal/

Thank you so much for your time,
Shaul.

Stagger Lee, thanks for a hint - great idea.

Almost all features is possible to do with some hack (with little knowledges of PHP, JS, CSS and HTML).

Even without specific knowledges most of Themler features can be replaced by Joomla extensions or WP widgets (slideshow, megamenu, offcanvas menu etc.)

I strongly disagree. Install plugin and say godbye to TH options, mostly. With snippets like I pasted all TH options are there.
But snippet is there to say to TH developers it is not so heavy work to make it in TH, as options from 0-100%.

So about it I'm talking (seems you misunderstood me): need this features in Themler.

Hope that Themler team will pay attention in this and other snippets. But from Themler support words: many of features from wishlist (like a megamenu etc.) is easy to realize in HTML+CSS way, but hard to integrate it in Themler (apply solution to many CMS).

Here is a example quote (about megamenu):

In fact, html/css is not a problem. This feature requires creating
additional options in CMS to fill the content: menu items, modules,
banners, etc. We need some time to research existing solutions for
different CMS that Themler supports.

Hi,

The off-canvas menu is in our backlog right after the megamenu.
Unfortunately I cannot say when these features will be implemented.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hello again, I am starting to see more of a need for this type of menu when dealing with many pages. Everyone please vote.

It doesn't look like a huge deal to implement so hopefully for Christmas!!

Thanks for the great product!

I sense it's coming soon also, when it happenes I would be able to give clients great responsive sites without adding any plugin and code ....

Though I tried stagger's cool hack, I didn't succeed too much..
Stagger in case you see my message, do you have any live demo for your method somewhere?
It can be great to see it in action until themler team implements this option.....

It has been now 2 years since I started this topic...

It was a very good idea. I use a Joomla menu component that is super feature rich and has a really nice offcanvas menu and many other bells and whistles. I too would like to reduce the loading of a zillion plugins and scripts on my sites if I can use this.

Shaul, combine my tutorial for Mega Menu and some finished Bootstrap snippet from net. Snippet for canvas off menu.
If you need to keep Themler eediting options. If you dont need it, then it is much easier. Dont know how to style it for resposnive, have not done it.

Themler doesn't seem to be doing well with keeping on top of new features that are required to be able to make cutting edge themes and sites.

Very disappointing that this particular option that is clearly required by most users has been left on the shelf for over 2 years now!

If this is how long requests take then im afraid it's definitely time for me to get a refund and invest in a better option.

long overdue. How on earth did the Dev team ignore this particular feature. This should take more priority.

I assumed off canvas sub menus would work and now I'm stuck with modifying my whole design. I've been a customer for over 6 years (Artisteer) and this kind of stuff always makes me re-think my investment into your products. I'm sure it's a difficult balance of profits versus staff. I love your products and I hope you can keep things moving forward.

I have pity for people who cling to Themler, they have not yet figured out that it's shit software.

I've rarely seen a company with such disastrous communication, and people keep congratulating them on every update that brings nothing.

Hello Themler, could you give us an update on this? I would like to start using your menu vs 3rd party modules in Joomla but an off canvas would be the bees knees!!

Thanks!

Love the program!

Why is everything suspended now? I don't like the sound of this.

Hi,

We are focused on a new product that will be presented soon. We do not stop the Themler project however, so the feature is simply in the backlog for now with no estimate date for the release.

Sincerely,
Hella
