License questions

For me it is unclear what you get with a license. I am a long time artisteer User.

You can start using Billion Themler free. What are the differences with the paid subscriptions, compared to the free use?

If I subscribe to themler and make a website for a client. Will the site stop working if I stop the subscription?

Some clearifycation on that would be nice. I do not seem to find it on the website or in previously asked questions.

Thanks
Jurjen

Hello,

The subscriptions provide additional possibilities, like themes and photos for free. See the full list here:

http://billionthemler.com/Purchase

Also it's not known for how long the Themler will be available for free.
The site will not stop working - it will not be possible to edit it with Themler app.

Best regards,
Tammy

It raises a question though. I make theme for customers. So basically if they want to ensure a theme is editable, they should buy a license?

For me the old Artisteer license model is better to use then. Is Artisteer end-of-life or will themeler be ported to artisteer with the same license model?

Any feedback on this would be appreciated, before a purchase.

Thanks you

Hi,

To make edits to a theme your client can purchase a license or request a change from you(assuming you got a license). Artisteer is still supported and new version is in development. Themler will not be ported to Artisteer.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or if we misunderstood any of your question.

Best regards,
Tammy

HI Tammy,

nice to hear Artisteer will continue. Any insight if it also will support Woocommerce and magento and when a new version is expected?

Thank you

I have an Active Licence until 15 Aug 2015, I download the Themler after signing and placing my lic Number and do not see the deference and would like to know first, will my Themler be deactivated after the lic date?

Also have issue, after closing the program logging back in the CMS types after using them one time, I have cleared all browser history and catch !

Also find if very slow, I know it's going via your server also but still too slow,

and what will cost for faithful customers to upgrade at a later date and any ideas on when, it break out of the Beta phase and some Templates do not play nice with the Themler, from your download site!

thanks

I understand this post is from November 2014 - so, maybe that is why I'm seeing a conflict? Here you say that when the license expires for Themler I will no longer be able to edit the theme - however, elsewhere on the site you say themler will continue working - however, I will not be able to UPDATE themler without a license.

Which is it?

FYI. My license expired July 29th. I can no longer create a theme, save a theme or download as zip. This includes desktop version also.

Hi,

Regarding the license after the free upgrade period of your Themler license expires. The upgrade policy has been changed since the last year and now you should be able to edit your themes in Themler after the license expires. But you won't be able to install the new updates without purchasing the license extension.
Regarding the cost of the license extension for those who has Themler for one year already, it will be approximately 50% of the subscription cost.

some Templates do not play nice with the Themler, from your download site

Could you please provide some examples of the templates and also explain what exact errors do you see.

Can I make a templates for my customer (and import them to their Wordpress site) ?

Yes, sure, you can import the template to the site of your customer and you can disable the Themler editor option in the theme while exporting the template.

I do not see Drupal mentioned in the CMS support column.

Indeed, Drupal plug-in is not included in any subscription plan as it was created separately and that's why it is sold as the separate product.

Sincerely,
Hella
