Archlight vmenu

The Archlight template (Joomla) has a Php issue. After ?? "something" in the Php vmenu statement of that template, an additional class tag is added that forces the sub-menu left instead of the default left: 100%;
I cannot figure out the pattern, or there is not one.
There are 2 menu items with sub-menu items "before" the menu item where the sub-menu has the additional class tag.
Here is the default class:
div class="bd-menu-24-popup"

After attempting to change the menu order, items, menu types, I couldn't get anything to stop the additional class tag:
div class="bd-menu-24-popup bd-popup-left"

That bd-popup-left overrides the CSS in the bd-menu-24-popup which states left: 100%;
The bd-popup-left has the CSS as left: auto;

If this were only a CSS issue I'd fix that.
But it's going to interfere with other areas if I change the bd-popup-left CSS so that it will not override bd-menu-24-popup.
I'd like to find the problem where the additional class tag is being added, or why, so that the entire menu is the same menu-item CSS.
The ul and li class tags don't change. Only the div class for some odd reason.

If I knew the "trigger" in the Php that is adding the bd-popup-left to appear, I'd change that. But I'm at a loss.

Anybody....ideas?
Thanks.

Never mind....shorten the menu item names and the sub-menu items will appear "right" instead of "bd-popup-left".
