Hello, this is making me crazy. Every time I open my template in the Joomla Admin area it says it's updating. I let it finish and get the nice "Theme Updated" The theme was updated to the newest version.

Every time I login the site and go to edit the theme it does this.

Why??

I logged in today and it went through the update and then I noticed a newer update icon and now it seems to be OK.

Thanks

I'm having the "exact" same issue today. I have a network system at work and every time I log out then log back in to the project, Themler updates.
???
Once a day I "might" understand.
But "every" time I log in to Joomla?!

Today is October 1, 2018. It's more than 2 years since Dave was having the same issue.

Please see what you can find out.
Thanks.

For anyone who has issues with Themler always make sure all files can be accessed by the Themler when saving or updating a theme.

Use the Network tab in your browser's developers tools when you have Themler open and save or refresh the template to make sure all files can be accessed. If any files show other than a 200 response code and are needed by Themler you will have issues. Gave me a lot of problems across the board.

All mine showed 200 through the entire, lengthy update process this morning. Every time it updates it's successful. But the fact that Themler feels the need to update "every" time I log in to the template is very odd.

Not sure then, open a private ticket and ask them. Everything else is up to date? Is this only on one site?

Yeah. It's getting worse. I keep getting the "Server is unavailable" error when I'm trying to edit slider images. I switched browsers and that did nothing to help.
Even deleting the slider image takes forever, but finally deletes. But I can't change an image, and now I can't add one...sigh...
Like you said, I'll have to open a private ticket and find out what's going on.
Thanks for the update.

Hosting, PHP, all sorts of things can muck with this fragile beast. Could be some extension in Joomla?

Doesn't help their update server is acting up now either.

Did you try installing the template on a different server and updating it there? Or using the Desktop version?
