Hello Themler Team,
I though alot about how to work with themler and the differences in responsive modes, and i thought about a solution, though i admit , this solution is probably really hard to do, but at least i want to tell you what's my thought about it.

In the Layout tab, there is a button named "responsive", which shows all the current media queries...
If somehow there was a way to put there a "+" sign and add a custom media query, and somehow that themler editor will adjust to its screen width, this will solve all the problems with setting up responsive resolutions, and also it will let the users adjust to theme to any custom media query they will need, like phone landscape and tablet landscape, and as you know, some devices look different, so this will give the option to be 100% responsive in the best way possible!!

In adobe reflow they have this type of functionality, and it makes it really flexible (though i don't use them, ofcourse, but i checked the product itself...).

Again, i know that this is probably a really hard thing to pull off, i just wanted to tell you about it and maybe it will help in somekind of way..

But thanks for your time to read this and cosider this idea :)

Shaul.

Has this request for custom media queries been implemented?

Do we have the ability to add custom media queries within Themler?

Hi,

Unfortunately no, we do not have it in our roadmap for future releases.

I for one think this is a great idea even if it's just a way to add a few more screen sizes.

Specifically for things like the non working slider that uses background images. This would allow more than the few sizes to keep the images looking constant.

I'm sure there are many other uses for something like this as well.

Dave , yeah this is a must option, themler even said once they will work on it, but the truth is I don't really think it's going to happen on themler bootstrap, because bootstrap has about 4 break points only, and bootstrap 4 has five....

I think themler will put this option in the future versions of themler....in case you didn't read about it, themler are checking other frameworks to base on them the software in the future....my only hope it will be a killer framework and that they will add all the modern Ui and elements they didn't add yet.....

The fact that Themler does not have this custom media queries option makes it a product that falls way behind it's competitors like Webflow, Oxygen etc...

To the support team:- If your aim is to make Themler the go to theme designer available, then adding features like this one IS A MUST.
