Hi

How do I add an alt tag to the image background and images on the page.
I can not find a place to enter alt
I use the latest themler

Hi!

You can add Alt text in Image Tab -> Alt field.

Please look at the image below.

Just a follow up, this setting is available for the Image control and not for the background image.

Hi.
The problem is that I edit the template directly on the backend of Joomla.
This is the background image sections

Hi,

As I commented above, the option is available for the Image control and not the image added as the background. There is no possibility to add alt tag to the background images.

Hi,

Does the same apply to adding alt tags to images inside a column. Seems that I cannot get the image selected to get the image menu open when it is inside a column.

Hi,

If you have added the image in the column as the background, that is the same. it is added as the background-image property in CSS files and not like the img tag in the page. If you need it to be an img tag, then use the Image control to add the image into the column.
