Currently Themler works on Bootstrap framework, but maybe put it on UIkit rails or add additional switcher to choice between Bootstrap and UIkit?

Why UIkit? It's lightweight, fast and powerful. There is a lot of features, like a cool offcanvas menu (as module position). UIkit have own style Customizer and other good options like a gzip and minifier.

Or maybe rewrite Artisteer's internal architecture with UIkit? It would be wonderful. I've read some plans about Artisteer from forum:

Hi everyone! We're finalizing Themler that is even more powerful than
Artisteer, but runs directly within WordPress and Joomla. We plan to
utilize that experience to bring more features back to Artisteer.
Though at the same time the complexity of Artisteer is so high that we
may also need to rewrite/recode Artisteer's internal architecture.
Nevertheless, there is no reason for us to abandon Aritsteer.

So, maybe UIkit is the best solution for Artisteer?

Get UIkit: http://getuikit.com/

Hello.

Want to bring back this topic to live as new information about Themler plans: What future frameworks are you considering?

We're working to put more frameworks in Themler, and not just
bootstrap. Bootstrap does not meet the up to date requirements in web
design. Features based on Bootstrap require more coding, which makes
the Themler more complex for users. Our goal is to make it easy in
use. The page layout with Bootstrap becomes less optimized, i.e.
extending or improving some features bring to additional CSS code and
tags. As for other frameworks, we cannot say anything definite now.

regards, Aileen
