Hi articore, what do you mean exactly?

I use wordpress and i use the All in one SEO plugin, which gives me the option to edit my robots.txt file. I don't know how it is in joomla, but i think this is more of a special seo element that you can edit through plugins or extensions.....

Hi shaulhader,

Thank you for your reply.

I was making a template using the artisteer until now, my site was located in the always higher in the Google search.
However, I have created a template in themler, my site is no longer displayed in the Google search.
And now, I have tried a variety of methods. One of them is the robots.txt.

Hi Articore, there may be a number of possible problems...

maybe check if you have some stuff you didn't delete from the old artisteer site. artisteer has sometimes code in the head area.....check it in the custom fields, and if you see anything, delete it from there...

also, check if you have all the H1,2,3,4,5 tags correct, and check if you have the meta information for the seo plugin working good...

by the way, if you just change the site from an artisteer theme to a themler theme, the robots.txt file should still be there...

H1, H2 ... tag it is important for SEO measures.

Permalinks does not change.

I changed the template of themer from artisteer, the structure of the article and the menu does not change.
However, after changing the template to themer, site is no longer hit in the Google search.

Temporarily, I return to the template that I have created in artisteer.

Thank You.

It is impossible, what you are describing. Has nothing to do with theme. And cannot be possible Google is removing or indexing you differently just because you switch theme. Google do it in matter of weeks, for average websites. Not several times per day when you switch themes.

that's strange.... i actually had the opposite effect. some of my sites which i changed from artisteer to themler jumped up in google ranking.

do you use also these plugins?
- google xml sitemap
- all in one seo / yoast seo

maybe check for pagespeed issues... other than that its not logical except when there is something major missing.. if i could see you site i maybe could know better.

I am a Japanese, I have created a Japanese company site.
Therefore, the search is because the Japanese, I think that perhaps different from your net environment.

I am now, wait for the result by sending an xml sitemap in google Search Console.
yoast seo is a plug-in for WordPress. In joomla not available.
