Summary
The Text 404 control is a main control located on pages with the 404 Text template . The control is responsible for the appearance of the standard response code in HTTP informing a user that the link that was clicked is broken.
Usage
To adjust the Text 404 control properties, just switch to 404 Text template - the control is included in this template by default.
The Text 404 control can be added using Insert ribbon >> Basic >> Other >> Text 404.
Only one Text 404 control can be present in a Themler theme.
While styles for the Text 404 control can be fully customized in Themler, its output is generated automatically and depends on the CMS used. However, in most cases it is possible to change the text for the error message by manual editing specific files in the CMS installation directory (sometimes using the CMS admin panel). The procedure is described in more detail here: 404 Text template.
You may also prefer not to use the Text 404 control on 404 error pages, but to insert a Text control with some static text instead.
