Summary

Product Variation control outputs additional product information or selection parameters.
This control can be added inside the Product Details control on the Product Details Template only.

Usage

To add Product Variations control to the page navigate Product Details control >> Add Control on the Ribbon >> Product Variations.

Joomla

In Joomla the Product Variation control is used to output VirtueMart Custom Fields.

  1. Add Product Variation control to the desired place inside the Product Details control.
    The Product Variations control has "Layout Position" option:

  2. Choose the desired Layout Position name if needed and Apply changes to CMS.

  3. Go to the Joomla Admin >> VirtueMart >> Products >> Custom Fields >> choose custom field, e.g. Color >> and specify appropriate Layout Position name:
