Hi,

i have created my first wordpress theme and exported it. i have edited three page templates and the blog posts. I don´t need more templates
After installing the theme and going to the editor, the theme is a pure mess. why are there so many templates exported, that i don´t use?
How can I remove all that stuff? The CSS is huge? why? I want a really basic theme, thats why I purchased Themler, to create a theme for my needs and don´t have another big theme with a lot of stuff in there.

Please help!

Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately you cannot remove built-in templates.
Themler theme includes a number of built-in templates (Home, Post, Page, Blog) so you can make unique design for different website pages.
If you need very simple theme I can suggest that you try Artisteer. The Artisteer Home license key is included into your Themler Personal subscription. I've emailed Artisteer license key to you.

Thank you,
Olivia

I really would like to use artisteer, but I can´t find an OSX download. Is there one?
thank you!

Hi,

Artisteer for Mac was in beta stage and we haven't released it completely. But a lot of users used it on Mac with no issues so feel free to try:

Sincerely,
Hella

I’ve had similar issues with themes being bloated, even when creating a custom one. It’s frustrating when you just want a simple, clean design. It reminds me of Nulls Brawl APK—sometimes you just want the basics and not all the extra clutter. You might want to check the theme’s functions.php and remove any unused template files or unnecessary code. Also, you can try disabling unused features in the theme customizer to trim down the CSS. It should make things much lighter!
