Hi,
I was analysing some of my themeler themed websites using Google Pagespeed Insights and it recommended loading render blocking javascript asynchronously.

The files google identified are all part of the themler template:

jquery.js?version=1.0.660
bootstrap.min.js?version=1.0.660
layout.core.js?version=1.0.660
js/jui/jquery.min.js
js/jui/jquery-noconflict.js
/script.js?version=1.0.660

Can you please tell me how I can set these files to load asynchronously, and is it possible for the developers to incorporate this in the next version?

good idea, i also noticed this.... themler has somekind of publishing button which is supposed to minify the css and js, but i don't see it actually doing anything to make the site load faster....

the best option is to use a cache plugin, but i also am interested that themler team make the sites themselves load the fastest possible, it can be a reall pain to take care of this after the site is up...

thanks !

Unfortunately Themler does not support this feature. Bit I've added your request to our wish list.

In the meantime you can search for third-party extensions which help to improve site loading speed.

Thank you,
Olivia

Shaulhadar, CSS doesn't work with ASYNC the way javascript does. Google's recommendations is to load javascript files last and include CSS used above the fold inline. This is such a ridiculous recommendation, I note that they don't even use this method on their own websites.
The performance hit from loading CSS files is so tiny, it's not a real issue anyway. This is probably how most people don't care about that particular optimisation.
On the other hand, unminified jquery is around 250,000 bytes
