Dont know for 100% if it is a bug, but you can check.

So it goes:

Activate Static Page for front
Check option to chose Custom Categories
Write some category slug
Deactiave all those options and delete slug
It shows only Homepage Page on front. And in some way WP_Query is confused and stuck on this Page. It should not show Pages at all, but Posts only.

I can test it on Cloud when you fix themes saving in our profiles.

Disabled all plugins and own code
Refreshed Permalinks several times

Did not help.

As soon I check option again and write category slug then it works nice.
Strange thing is when front shows wrong Themler edit screen shows it right. I deleted Appcache and hard reseted window too.
