Hi,
I am new to Themler (used Artisteer for years), and am very impressed (bit of a learning curve though).
I have created a template, saved it as a .zip with content, uploaded to Joomla and installed it. Works great - even editing from within Joomla.

My question - is it best to edit from within Joomla, or from desktop/save as .zip and upload it again ?
If I save it within Joomla with the template also be updated when I work from the desktop (i.e not logged in to Joomla)

I have loads of other questions but for now am forging ahead and will check out other answers.

Thanks for an exciting application.

Adrian

Hello, as a wordpress user I prefer building on the server, you'll save time and avoid struggling with export/import thing! I never used joomla but I think it's the same rules.

Hi,

As for me, it's more convenient to work on the live site when you see all the content changes in the real time.

Sincerely,
Hella

Thanks Hella - I am working through it, and very pleased with the way it works.

Thank you.
one thing - when i login and go to edit the template within Joomla I keep getting a message saying 'the theme is being updated to the latest version', then advising me it is now the latest version. Should I be doing something to 'keep' the updated version ? (I am saving in)
