Just curious, i keep asking this across the net and have found nobody anywhere ever that has ever made anything of any use with Themler.
Is this actually supposed to replace Artisteer ?

This is not browser based, it is the standalone, clearing my browser cache wont help unfortunately.
And saving and reloading does not help either.
I have traced the problem a little, it seems some things inside columns or containers cant be changed (Search bar)
Unfortunately this is purely a bug and cant be worked around, it makes the program entirely unusable and worthless at this point, it does it on OSX and WIndows.
They need to fix it as soon as possible.

"This is not browser based, it is the standalone." Don't you have the option to just create a blank template and save with Themler editing option checked, then work on it inside of your CMS site? That workflow is a must IMO, because Themler is really built on being a browser based editing platform. At least that's my take on it, and I spend about 10 seconds in the standalone version per site.

Here's my list of issues. Been TRYING to work with Themler/woocommerce for 2 weeks now.

  1. Create theme on desktop. Upload to domain server and things don't seem to be what I had on the desktop.
    Menus are not the same.
    Sections don't have rounded corners.

  2. Can't edit woocommerce colors on desktop OR on the server Themler editor.
I get this error that its not activated on the server. No one seems to think this is an issue since its been out there for MONTHS.
Coloring, text size, text font; these are HUGE issues that should have been fixed long ago.

  3. Upload to server and now I can't edit in wordpress. Should I get rid of the Themler plug-in?

  4. Others have already posted the file/save issue. I did find where in the hell the files are saved but had to go online and ask. Good god, file/save and file/save as have been around forever. Whats the deal here?

Basically I think I just wasted my money. If I still had an old copy of FrontPage, I'd go use that.

I think the gif is plenty enough to prove what i said, so dont come on to the thread and ignore the issue by asking for separate threads, support is a joke too then ?

@ viscience1 ,
we're investigating all technical issues and trying to resolve them promptly. We're not ignoring any thread.
But it's not possible to work under several issues reported by different users in a single thread. Also in many cases access to CMS back end is needed. Taking into account these reasons we're asking about separate private topics.

Please feel free to create the one if needed.

regards,
Aileen

viscience1,

We provide technical support with 1-2 business days. If we have a lot of support topic than a short delays may happen (1-3 business days).
Themler works just fine for hundreds of our customers. If it does not work on your side please create a separate private topic and provide the access to the CMS admin panel. We'll check what is wrong and fix it if this is Themler problem. Unfortunately without cooperation from your side we cannot fix the issue based on the description of the issue like "it does not work". There are could be a couple of reasons why Themler cannot start (permissions, HTTP/HTTPS conflict, third-party plugins, etc).

Thank you,
Themler Team

viscience1,

Maybe you should consider this whole thing is not for you. Themler is a very good program and support is helpful. I have no real problems and have used it for a few sites.

Actually to answer the question, I just finished a HTML site that is basically one of the coolest static sites I ever made. There were a couple minor things and support helped me with them. The one thing I found with the html site that needs to be changed in the program support is going to fix in the program. I would say that's a touchdown. My client is very happy. This is a interesting program to work with. It has it's moments but overall it's results are worth the time it takes.

I am certainly not patronizing in any way. I have been a very sharp critic of both Artisteer and Themler when it's needed. However they are a good bunch and do have a pretty amazing product. So I will always give out credit where deserved because they deserve it.

If you find something better I would love to know. I only with they had support in my time zone so I did not have to wait so long for an answer.

I have 1 site done with some improvements on the way, so I am not nearly as experience as others who have posted in this thread.

I had LOTs of issue when I first started with Themler, but most resolved when I upgraded to a paid account on my host: the free account I apparently did not have enough resources (probably memory) to run Themler well. The rest were learning curve issues, for me. That said, my site is pretty simple and, for the most part, static. Overall, I am pretty happy with Themler, even though I wish it worked better with SEO plugins. I know enough about coding to know it would have taken me MUCH, MUCH longer if I was writing Javascript/Html to make my site.

OP, I hope you get your issue(s) worked out or find a better solution for you. Good luck.

Hi man, I actually built hundreds of sites with themler already, and it's the best tool I use nowadays....sure, it has some bugs, but the developers are great and they fix them if you send them tickets about them....

I am on Windows , so I don't know what's going on Mac....but I am sure that if you write to the support team they will help you fix it....

I am not sure how you are doing this. I have no experience and the documentation is non existent. When I write tech support they send me to the same URL which has no basic information about the program.

Hi Sstrohmayer, I work in a company and also for private clients. I have made a large number of themler themes for my own use I which I start my work from... also, I am working with themler from about the start, like two years and some months already... so I constantly work every day on sites based on themler. After you get the hang of the program, you can fly with it, it's the fastest site builder I know currently. Most of the bugs are manageable, and if you write support they really help you out. I am not kidding, I wrote support hundreds of times about bugs and they helped me each time. In case you need some help you can add me on Skype and I will try to help... I built only on Wordpress though, and a little bit on HTML sites...hope you succeed In using the best software out there :)
