What is the difference between a joomla template and a virtuemart template?

What is the difference between a joomla template and a virtuemart template? I see that both also contained products, products detail and shopping cart. Can someone tell me?

Hi,

Actually the Joomla theme is supposed to have Virtuemart functionality included so you could migrate to Virtuemart theme as soon as you need a shop functionality. Also Joomla theme can be saved with the Business subscription and to be able to export Virtuemart themes you will need an E-Commerce license.
