Hello, I am really hoping to start using your slider more to maintain compatibility and work smoothly without conflicts.

However I am quickly seeing it's not user friendly in regards to being responsive. You have elected to make the images background images which does not work for me.

There are typically 2 scenarios with a slider. Someone who wants a large image that is a background image or someone who wants an image that is seen at all screen sizes but just smaller. Just like a normal content image that sizes down to the screen width and container size. Please add the ability to set the slider to either cover or contain (however it should be phrased) so it works for both types of situations.

Thank you

Hello Dave,
Slider control has the Background option where Fill color, Gradient or Image could be used. We're interested in Image option

The background image could be displayed in number of different sizes:

I2.png

You may select any you need. In fact these are typical values and they're described at http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_background-size.asp

In addition to it other background options could be specified

Remember that different settings could be specified for the different screen sizes.
For example you may specify the
Size: Wide (100% auto)
for the Desktop mode and
Size: Contain
for the Phone mode.

If value is not set up for the smaller screen size it is inherit from the larger screen size.

All said above concerns the other controls where Image could be selected as background option: Section, Container, Column, Hove Box, etc.

I hope it clarifies the issue and helps other Themler users to understand the background image settings.

Regards,
Aileen
