Hi,

I am aware of the fact that I can add my metadata inside the window 'Additional Head HTML' under the page setting, what I would like to know is if it is possible to insert different metadata on the various pages. At the moment when I change the metadata the change will affect all the pages.... Is there a way to do this?

Thank you
Sam

Hi,

In Themler there is no possibility to add different metadata for each page. I suggest you to search for the plug-in that will implement such functionality for your CMS.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi,

I have followed your advice and installed Yoast (which it's one of the biggest SEO plugin available for Wordpress), this way I can inputs keywords in the various pages but somehow the plugin cannot read the text and titles that I've written on my static pages using directly Themler. The plugin can only see the contents that I might create within Wordpress editor but not the on created with Themler.

I have asked to the Yoast developers the reason for this and they have replied me:

"Our plugin analyzes the default WordPress content areas. If the analysis does not pick up all of your information, you are likely adding content outside of the default editor. Some plugins and themes, like page builders or visual composers, do not share their content with our analysis feature.
If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation: Can I add data to the page analysis?"

My question is, will Themler themes not send any of their contents to any SEO plugin that I can use with Wordpress or it is an isolated problem with Yoast? If it is a problem only with Yoast, can someone in this forum suggest me some good Wordpess plugin that is able to read also the contents that I write with Themler directly on the theme?

Thanks
Samuele

Hello Samuele,
there's no special options in Themler that allows or disallows to send anything to SEO plugins.
the content of the page in Themler theme consists of the static and dynamic parts. You may see the dynamic part in Themler in green border. This is WP content: pages, posts, widgets. It could be accessed and edited from WP admin and Themler.
The static content is in blue border in Themler. This content is part of the theme and it cannot be accessed from WP admin back end. I suppose that this content cannot be "accessed" by SEO plugins.

As workaround you may consider using the WP Widget Areas instead of Text controls and add text type widgets in WP.

regards,
Aileen

Thank you for answering and for suggesting a workaround to the issue. It's just a bit of a let-down that at this point all the beautiful pre-designed sections that Themler offers cannot be used unless you decide to sacrifice your SEO for those sections.

It would be interesting to know how Google handles all the static contents that belong to the theme....

Thank s

Hi,

I assume that the search engines will grab the static content of your site the same as the content added from the admin panel, it's a simple HTML for the search spiders. But the issue is that you can not handle this static content with your SEO plug-ins.

Sincerely,
Hella

ImanAlimi,

According to our records you're using WordPress. WordPress has a lot of existing plugins to manage SEO and set page metadata. You can use any of them.

Thank you,
Olivia
