I am user of Artisteer and buy a one year membership for your templates. I downloaded some examples but I cant start/import a new template which I have downloaded. Please tell me how I can use the templates within Artisteer.

Thank you

Hello Peter,
I'm sorry but the issue is not quite clear. Do you mean that you cannot open the downloaded .artx file in Artisteer?

Regards,
Aileen

Hello Aileen,

Thank you for your fast reply.

  1. I downloaded a few examples from the website.
  2. I unzip the files
  3. I open Artisteer and want to load one of the examples
  4. There is no .artx in the examples I have

What do I wrong?

Regards
Peter

Hello Peter,

If you download files with Firefox or Chrome, then the files should be saved on your computer in ARTX format and not in ZIP. Then they can be opened with double click on them.

Alternatively you can rename the downloaded ZIP files into ARTX, e.g. example.zip -> example.artx then they can be opened with Artisteer.

Hello Peter,
our records indicate that you have downloaded several .artx files.
There's no need to do anything with these files, just open the .artx file in Artisteer.
If you'll get any problem with it please attach a file you're trying to open here in the topic.

Regards,
Aileen

Make sure you have downloaded the template files to your computer. Templates might come in a compressed format like ZIP, so extract the files if necessary.
