I don't know why is not working anymore but this use to work like charm. I use to create a slider or a hero image for the landing page and after exporting from desktop, installing the WordPress theme and everything was there. Please don't tell me this is not possible because I already have over 20 live sites done in the same way.

I added a full width section in the homepage with a hero image, text and all the good stuff, but is not showing up in the WordPress website.

Thanks

Hi,

You mean that you add a section into the theme, export it and there is no section in WP? Please attach your exported theme and a screen shot of how it looks in Themler.

Sincerely,
Hella

Yes that's exactly what I mean. Theme and creenshot are attached.

Thanks

Hi,

That section is not included into the theme. Maybe it is a part of the content? Try to export the theme with the content included and then import the content into the site.

Sincerely,
Hella

I already tried that and a bunch other ways. This is very weird, the only way to import the content is through the import content button inside the WordPress live website. But is importing all demo content, menus and everything. So I had to manually delete all the demo data (content).

Now is working but is a little painful process.

Thanks,
Robert

Hi,

That means that the section is a part of the content. Make sure that you place your section into the blue area and not the green one. When you drag it inside the template it will give you the choice to insert it in the Template:Home or Content, choose the Template option.

Sincerely,
Hella
