I have a H1 title with the seperator, and the only way to change its color is to change all H1 titles to the same color in Design -> More styles -> H1
Same with the problem I had earlier with the search button. All the design choices in the design tab overrides any changes you make specifically to one H1, button or whatever it might be.
I think that needs to be changed so you have more control over single elements.

Please attach your exported theme (with the editor included) so we could review the settings.
Sincerely,
Hella
Hi,
Please click on the text, then open the Edit tab on the top ribbon and change the color value there.
Sincerely,
Hella
Still doesn't work:

Hi,
Please find the attached template. I have changed the text color.
Sincerely,
Hella
It shows correctly white color in the text when I opened your zip in the editor, but it shows the dark grey color as the selected option still. Am I having a different version from yours? I don't see any new updates in the editor.
Why doesn't it work when I do it?
Now it suddenly works. Strange. But only if I have the blinking cursor in the text. That didn't work before.
But good that its working now. :)
Thank you for your help.

I also checked the theme you attached. The option to change color on the Edit tab works just fine:

The option on the Separator tab does not work because it changes the color of the TEXT. But you're using Heading1 in the Separator. In this case the option on the Edit tab works because it changes color of the selected Heading 1.
please let us know if you need our further assistance here.
