Hi everyone!

We are happy to inform you that the first Beta version of Drupal 8 themes for Themler is ready for testing and feedback!

If you are interested in helping us to make Drupal 8 themes better please download the attached theme and install it on your local/remote Drupal 8 installation and start testing.
Please let us know about any bugs you find or questions that you have.

How to Install and Use Drupal 8 Themes.

Why there is a separate theme for Drupal 8 and is it compatible with Drupal 7? Can we convert existing Drupal 6-7 themes to Drupal 8 themes?

Drupal 8 is a completely re-written version of the Drupal platform built on simphony. The current Drupal 6-7 theme are not compatible with Drupal 8 for 100%. Therefore we created completely new Themler themes for Drupal 8.

Unfortunately, the existing Themler themes for Drupal 6-7 cannot be converted to Drupal 8 themes.

What subscription do I need to test Drupal 8 themes?

The ability to save and export Drupal 8 themes is available for customers who have regular Drupal subscription. Otherwise Themler will work in DEMO mode and you will not be able to save or export themes.
NOTE: if you have expired Drupal subscription you will be able to try the attached theme. But, as usual, you will not be able to update Themler to get the latest version of the Drupal 8 themes.

How to report bugs?

If you faced any problems with beta themes please contact us via our Answers system by creating new private or public topic with drupal8-beta-testing tag. In addition to this please type "Drupal 8" in the topic title.

Please do not submit technical issues in this topic because it is impossible to handle them in such general topics.

Does the new Drupal 8 theme support Views?

Drupal 8 themes work with Views module in the same way as Drupal 6-7 themes.
Please refer to this article for more details.

Please note that Beta products carry increased risk of malfunctioning and are not recommended for use with live websites. However, we welcome your feedback and will update Themler within several days if any major issues are reported to us.

Hi,

Currently Drupal 8 themes are quite stable and we do not plan to make major changes to the current version. We keep it as beta because of the Desktop problems only: we cannot include Drupal 8 into the Themler Desktop installation because of the various compatibility problems with PHP and MySQL versions used by Themler Desktop webserver.

If you have any problems with Drupal 8 themes please let us know.

Well if it is stable implement the suggestions we all requested.

And it is not stable, because it breaks the use of editing views layout (special blocks).

Drupal 8 + Commerce 2.x = on the product page, when choosing different product variations, the price does not change. With other theme, everything works fine.

Most probably there is scripting error. I cannot say more without live link. Please check browser console.
