Hi, I am using Joomla 3.6.4 and Themler 355. When I test the responsive menu on the desktop reduced down to mobile size the responsive menu works okay. If I open it in an iphone 4 or 5 as soon as you click the hamburger menu icon the menu drops down and then immediately closes, so you are unable to select any menu item. If I revert back to the Themler 354 version it works okay.

Is Solution

I have now found a solution to this. I went to Horizontal Menu (tab) > Mobile Menu > Action > (Selected) Popup on click and it now works. By default it was set on Expand on click (which didn't work).

Hi,

Probably the menu with expand on click was hidden below the content. If you want us to investigate the issue, please provide an access to the site back end.

Sincerely,
Hella

It is working okay for what I want. The horizontal menu has a Z level of 1000 so it shouldn't have been behind anything.
It does show up okay when viewing on a desktop (just reduced down) so if it was a case the levels you would think it would be hidden in that case also. It is just when you open it in an actual phone, opens then closes straight away.

Is there a reference anywhere as to what the difference is to expand on click and popup on click is? Is it supposed to be expand on click moves the content down and popup on click opens the menu in front of the content?

Actually I just checked and the version of Themler where it is working is much older than 354 it is actually 3.01 (Sorry about that).

Hi,

Yes, the difference between menu modes is like you have described. Please let us know if you need our further help.

Thanks, I just experimented some more and removed some Relative positions settings and removed the Header height setting and now the Expand on click is working correctly :-)
