Hello,
There is no tutorial for that but the flow is pretty simple:
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Tammy
We tried this and it did not work. Where is the help files for using Billion Themes in Artisteer.
We tried this and it did not work. Where is the help files for using Billion Themes in Artisteer. This appears to be incorrect information from Tammy. You cannot open a theme in Artisteer, never have been. I wonder why the support staff would think this.
Anyway, you can only download and open the Artisteer projects and they do download with the .artx file extension. If it's a zip file it's a template not a project and cannot be edited with Artisteer.
You are likely downloading something made with Themler or it's a project (template file) that was exported from Artisteer.

So to be clear, on the left side it must be an ARTX file in the CMS Type filter list. These are all artx files when downloaded not zip and can be edited with Artisteer if you have a new enough version.

Sorry for the confusion, I think there was some misunderstanding. Indeed, there is no way to open the exported .zip file in Artisteer. Dave is right, you need to select ARTX in the left panel as a search parameter and that file will be opened in Artisteer 4.2 and higher.

I'm still not clear reading this topic for possible solution. Dave gave some help but not clear enough. The support should be up and provide useful solutions but not making things difficult. I bought q5 template and it came with artisteer sodtware that will enable me to edit even though I did not have any licence for artisteer. After many editing I could not export since I did not have licence and if I save there won't be any change since I could not upload to my site because it will save with artx format instead of zip. So how can I resolve this problem or the software will just remain useless as it is?

Yes, theme includes .artx file but does not include Artisteer software, of course.
Artisteer license costs $49 Home and $129 Standard edition.
The .artx file is included for customers who have Artisteer license.
If you're not Artisteer customers you should use exported theme (http://templates.themler.com/Themes/Detail/1872106 ,for example) and edit it manually if needed.
I've asked our sales team to add note that Artisteer license is required for editing theme in Artisteer.
Sorry for the confusion.
Thank you,
Olivia
