page template and side bar

In a joomla site i have two page templates. So far so good. In one of the page templates and on the blog template there is a sidebar active. Can i change the content of the sidebar in the page template and not on the blogtemplate. Now every time a make changes to the sidebar on the page template they also appear on the blog template

Hi,

No, the sidebar is a shared control so it shows the same content on all templates where it is used. You can add widgets from the WP admin and then assign them to the specific pages in the widget option.
