very slow loading

Yesterday and today was slow. Some server glitch and problems. Not it is fast as before. At least for me.

Yes, very slow loading and saving.

Our engineers investigated your issue and told me that delays are mostly caused by your internet connection speed.
Here are some results from our tests:
Total save time - 112 sec.
Time of exact Themler operations - 5.7 sec.
Thus, the difference of 106.3 sec is caused by the net issues.

As a possible solution I would recommend you to install Themler theme on your WP localhost and let us know if the issue still persists.

I am using the Desktop version and I must say that it's exceedingly slow, it will take hours to design anything at this rate. Why can't the desktop version save locally as opposed to the cloud, not everyone has fast connections.

Sorry for the delay.
The Desktop version saves files locally and uses local repository of controls, etc. It uses less traffic than basic Themler theme installed in local CMS.
But it's still needs internet to connect protection server, for example. We're still working on improving Desktop version and plan to make it more offline in the future.

The speed is still an issue. It takes about 10 -15 min. to save (online) and sometimes the browser refreshes when making a design change. That can take up to 5 min.

I just made some changes to a page content and did not save while working for about 40 min (due to the slow saving time. Upon saving I got a
"browser error, please refresh cache" - Then everything was lost.

- access credentials to CMS admin back end if Themler Online version is so slow.

i have the same problem ... i downloeaded the desktop version and still it takes more than 2 minutes to load.

is there a fix?

Please provide more information. Does Themler loads 2 minutes every time or only once at first run?

Please note, that at first run Themler loads and caches its files from Internet, in order to work with them locally.

the first time it takes a long time to run,

then every time I make a copy (save as and re-open (creating a backup)) it takes time to Open the file....

Themler is always slow in my case. I use the desktop application, the CMS version is too slow to be workable.

It takes very long to load after making a layout change. It also takes long to switch between layouts. Renaming a region takes long and saving too is a good long wait.

It's really a drag on productivity. My connection is fine and my machine is fast.

the Themler loads slowly first time because the the files should be uncompressed and about 30 mb should be downloaded. The subsequent Themler loads should be faster.

I just downloaded it today. Internet speed is 24Mbs - so it can't be the internet. It loads slow, saves slow and closes slow...

I just bought Themler. I have to say that this is extremely SLOW. There is no way to use the program without getting frustrated on the lag.

I am now in my eighth month of my Themler license, or rather, Artisteer one year update. I have not been able to use Themler to create a single theme because it is so slow.

Artisteer, which I used to love, is virtually obsolete because businesses want that BIG one page look that Themler seems to promise to produce. The site designs that Artisteer produces, are now considered old school. When I show people Artisteer sites that I used to be very proud of, I get a look like "that's all you got?"

I understand you are working within the constraints of Wordpress (in my case) or other CMSs, but really, this is really impossible to use. No matter how many times I start and restart, I just can't get it to run. $60 lesson I guess. I will wait a couple of years to upgrade as development of this promising product seems painfully slow. I'm sure you are excited about your product, and I hope to use it again sometime.
