Billionthemes Themler Template Not Visible After WordPress 4.7.1 Upgrade

I recently upgraded my site to WordPress 4.7.1 (from 4.7) and I can no longer see my Themler template in the Billionthemes editor. The theme still works on my website but I can't edit it since I can't see it. See the image attachment to see what my blank screen looks like.

If I revert back to an older template that's about 1 year old, I can then see the template in the Billionthemes editor, if I upgrade the template, it disappears.

I notice in the Billionthemes editor that I see that 1 "updates" are available for the template I can't see. I have tried to upgrade the template but Themler gives me the message to "please wait" while upgrade occurs and the screen hangs never bringing me back to the template window.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks...

Nettie,

Thanks for your response. That didn't fix the problem, however I found out what the problem is. The issue is that I am connecting to my site using HTTPS (instead of HTTP) ever since the upgrade to WordPress 4.7.1. I figured out that the Themler plug-in can't run with HTTPS, so I get the blank screen. If I log into my site via HTTP, Themler works just fine. So it looks like an issue where the Themler plug-in doesn't support HTTPS. To test this I connected via Chrome browser (instead of Safari) and noticed that Chrome shows that a plug-in was blocked when Themler was loaded during an HTTPS session, as soon as I unblock it Chrome tells me I must revert to HTTP to run the plug-in. Once I accept, Themler works (in HTTP) and I can see my site in the template.

So the solution is to run Themler with HTTP not HTTPS.

Do you know if this will be fixed in a future Themler update?

Thanks again for your help...

Hello,
Themler works with HTTPS.
Please open the WP admin back end Settings >> General and make sure that both options WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address(URL) are specified with HTTPS protocol.

Regards,
Aileen

Aileen,

Many Thanks! That did the trick, I did as you mentioned and that fixed the problem. I can now run Themler via HTTPS.
