I want to create the same areas Hello, Events, Staff, Links as in this screenshot:

What should I do for this?

I've tried to add a "Column" control and then four "Box" controls within it, however how I can add content or edit those boxes afterwards?
They are not transformed into Widget areas when I export my theme to WordPress.

Thanks for your answer.

Rory

What you can try:

  1. Add columns.
  2. Set layout to 4-column
  3. Add Text Group control to each cell with layout where image is above.
  4. Add Button under each Text Group.

If you want to transform each cell to Footer Widget Area you should try Add Control -> Other -> Footer Widget Area (one such control is in footer of WP default template). But be aware that Widget Area is just a placeholder for cms-specific widget (which is set up from admin panel), you can't drag any of the Designer's controls there at the moment.

Hope this helps.

This information was very helpful, thanks.

I didn't find "Primary Widget Area" control in "Other" section though. Is this control maybe called other way?

Yeah, I meant Footer Widget Area. Thanks for pointing this out - I've edited initial reply.

Glad this helped. Cheers!

Footer Widget Area is Wordpress specific control.
E.g. Joomla has Joomla Position control for this.

IMHO, this is little illogical to use Footer Widget Areas in such theme like on screenshot above.
These blocks look like part of content of specific page or template, but not like footer areas which are visible on every site page in Footer.
Instead of them try to use Sidebar control in Wordpress or Joomla Position in Joomla.
They will create new widget position and they will be showed in the same list in Wordpress as Footer and Primary areas.

I have a problem to use Themler template.
It can not show Jomres's module on the template, you can see the attached picture, I don't why so Please help me to fix it.
There are two attached files;
1. It is original display.
2. It is Themler display.
I cannot change its picture size of each column. The column is produced by Asamodule of Jomres component.

Hope you can help.
