REQUEST: Disable EDIT of content/pages (outside of WordPress)

One of the most annoying functions when developing themes with Themler is that if you CLICK on the page while making an edit in Themler, then you're automatically editing the content in the WordPress page. The page then inserts a "[ html ]" and close around the content.

The ability to disable editing of content while inside Themler would be very useful.

Essentially an option for those only wanting to develop the theme;
1) Theme Editing - no content editing from within Themler (Leave content editing for within WordPress ONLY)
2) Theme & Content editing - for users that want to manage their site content

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll add it to our wish list for possible future implementations.

I was confused why Themler allowed to insert content, why using a cms then?

Your suggestion is good, to see when it will be implemented.

It is a pity, the team Themelr does a very good job, unfortunately they got lost in the road.

I am asking for one global button to disable it at whole for long time.
Dont want to see TH inserts anything where just text editor should be inserting.

Thousands of volunteers arer making WordPress as simple as possible for all Users, then TH reinvent the wheel and add one layer of complexibility more.

All of this is done because some people asked how to present content in columns, I sincerely doubt they know how to do it even now.

I'm with you Stagger Lee. I've "dealt" with it for a year, I'm kinda tired of dealing with it :)

Same thing with bullet points on widgets - by default, it's enabled on any list. Again, annoying and not needed, but based on how they did the exclusion, we're left to suffer.

Hopefully they'll add this to the mix at some point. It sure would be nice!

Hi,

Sorry, for now I cannot provide any information regarding the editor for Themler. But we are now working on the new software that will have a simple and powerful visual content editor.
If you need your clients to edit the content, please do not create or edit the content inside Themler so the clients will be able to edit them in the CMS editor.

Sincerely,
Hella

I'm sorry, did I just read that right? You're working on NEW software? Another NEW software, potentially abandoning Themler? Please don't go the DIVI route or Visual Composer route! Do you have any information on the new software that you're referring to?
