Different templates for different pages in Wordpress

Hello, how can I create different templates for different pages? I want to create a special template for the pages "contact" and "about". But whenever I create a new template in Themler I can't choose it in Wordpress. In Wordpress I can only choose between "default" and "home" why can I not select other templates?

Hello,

Please make sure the created templates are of Page type. In this case they will appear in Theme OPtions for the selected page in Wordpress.

It worked ... somehow. I guess you need to be on the page you wanna customize to add the new template.
