What are these menu settings used for?

Under templates> menus
I'm not sure what to set in these drop downs. Does this indicate columns, or grids or...?
Desktop 1,2,3,4,6,12
Laptops 1,2,3,4,6,12
Tablets 1,2,3,4,6,12
Phones 1,2,3,4,6,12

Hi,

You mean the settings for the mega menu? That is a number of columns that you will see in megamenu for the subitems. If you are talking about something else, please provide the screen shot of the settings in question.

Ok, now I understand. Did not realized its got to do with the megamenu.
