Check in your Cpanel if there is new version. All hosting providers offer newer.

It would be "helpfull" if Themler team message has some kind of alert :

Please upgrade to php 5.3.0 or higher before updating your Themler theme...!!!

This might be an issue for creating multiple website for clients. For every hosting account I would have to request a server upgrade.

Hi,

We are sorry for the inconvenience. But the PHP 5.3 version is not a new one and most of the servers are already working on PHP 5.4 and higher.

Sincerely,
Hella

Will this cause legacy issues with themes designed in Themler or can themes be sold to clients 'as is' and not be updated from when they are installed/therefore not impacted by Themler updates etc?

Hello team7 user,
in fact Themler themes could be installed to most WP sites (I see that you're interested in WP themes) without any problem. PHP codes would be compatible with higher PHP versions and as was mentioned before, PHP 5.3 should not cause any issue on most hostings.

regards,
Aileen

Hello,

Themler requirements about PHP version for CMS are the same as required for a specific CMS version on their website. If Themler doesn't work with a specific Joomla version or specific PHP version, please provide some details about the issue.

Sincerely,
Nettie

Hello,

Do you mean that you install some third-party component while working in Themler desktop? Does the same happen on your live site?

Sincerely,
Nettie

Hello,

Looks like this is because the current PHP version that goes with Themler desktop local Joomla installation, is lower. So we would recommend you, to try installing the component right there, on the live website, or as an alternative solution, or for testing purposes you may try installing both Themler theme and the component on some localhost with the required PHP version.

Sincerely,
Nettie
