Terms of use governs your use of BillionDigital websites. The usage of the Photos from billionphotos.com is determined by the License Agreement.

1. According to our License Agreement, you are allowed to use the Images on websites (for you and your customers), "in the form of advertising and promotional material, such as brochures, flyers, and the like provided that no individual Image is reproduced more than 250,000 times in the aggregate".

2. Please note the restrictions listed on the same page, concerning use of Images.

3. Relating templates, please note paragraph 15 of Restrictions. So, if you create an individual template containing images from BillionPhotos, for a customer - it it OK. But it is not allowed, to offer it for distribution or sale to third parties (except for offering the themes on templates.themler.com).

You acknowledge, agree and warrant you shall not:

15. Use BillionDigital Images in a manner that competes with BillionDigital's business. This includes, but is not limited to displaying Images in any format (including thumbnails) for download on a website, offering BillionDigital Images for sale, or incorporating BillionDigital Images in templates of any nature, including templates for websites, social networking websites, documents, projects or otherwise for distribution and/or sale to third parties. This does not concern offering the themes with the Images for sale on BillionThemes website.

Thanks so much. I apologize for my bad english.

I have a question: If I buy photos at istock-photo images, then I am obligated to include them in the imprint (site notes??) as follows: (Name of the artist - istockphoto.com). How do I do that when I buy photos at billion?

Only free images on BillionPhotos have such a notice:

yesterday i bought a picture an cant find the creater name. it was Photo #1855410. I bought that picture, i did not get the free version. So, when i buy a picture, I have do to nothing?

That's right - the purchased images do not require crediting the author.

What is difference between dropdown select option "free" and "Large photos, 1 year" ?
If I chose second do I need to write attribution ?

Hi,

You need to add the attribution to the images marked as free that are not available for purchase. Like this one:
http://billionphotos.com/Media/Detail/879153/clipart-Road-Horizon-Street-Desert-Desert-Road-photo-free

Note the free mark near the media number.

Hella, give your developers this GPL script:

It maybe can help them and they can adapt it for Themler servers, generating HTML code to be shown under your "free" images. (Proper attribution. Tested as Chrome Bookmarklet and works very well)

One big problem now is all "free" images HAVE TO be attributed (and of course found at Flickr) imediatelly.
Once you insert image in template, there is no more easy way to find this image again in Billionphotos and search Googe images/Flickr by this particular Flickr Username.

Only way is to try to remember keyword you typed in Billionphotos search, and list page after page, after page, after page, hundreds and maybe thousands of photos. Just to find one you inserted in template, and forgott to attribute before inserting it.

Or maybe better and almost perfect solution would be to insert attribution in your "free" images as EXIF data,
Whole this HTML code as image comment in EXIF. I dont know, know only as it is now it is a pain in the ass.

Can say only folks make website for less or more rich clients, and ending in court just for one stupid image is absurd. Right now in Europe you can settle outside a court and agree to pay around 2000 € just for one stupid and small image by 300x300 px. if you did not attributed it correctly.

I see now clicking on image opens right page in Billionphotos. Have not tested it for a long time because in most cases before it redirected to Billionphotos start page. Wil keep an eye on it, seems as many headaches are solved by it.

And yes, now you can open the image in BillionPhotos by clicking the edit sign in the image options in Themler.
