Questions:

1) Can I work with Themler both from my compuer at work and on my compter at home ??
(or is there a practical and/or a licens problem?)

2) Are all the themes are stored locally or online ?

3) If I move from one computer to another .... will all my work be gone if I haven't any backup?

4) Do I need to make backups of all my themes on my own PC - and if ... what is the best way?

Thanks,
Lars

Hello Lars,

You are working with Themler for Windows, right?
1. Yes, just log in with your email and password to use Themler on a different computer.
2. The themes are stored locally, the path is shown in the Theme Management screen after selecting some CMS, for example, C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_xxxxxxxxx\wordpress.
3. No, it won't. If you saved your themes, and if you did not remove Themler with CMS data from the previous computer, the themes are stored at the path mentioned above.
4. It is recommended, to make backups of the created themes somewhere on your computer - just export them with "Include Themler" option enabled, and with "Include Content" in case you wish to export also content. Also, you can import the exported themes in Themler on another computer to continue working at them.

Sincerely,
Nettie,

Hi Nettie

  1. The themes are stored locally, the path is shown in the Theme Management screen after selecting some CMS, for example, C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_xxxxxxxxx\wordpress.

When you say that the themes are stored locally at this path: C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_xxxxxxxxx\wordpress.

Does it mean that they are stored in the themes-folder under wp-content ??
and will I be able to open this theme in Themler and continue working on them??

or (and)

do I need to export every Theme one by one - and always "Include Themler"??

Is it an option to "include content" (I use Themler as a Theme-builder - I add all my content in WP) - or is it necessary for it to be "re-opend" in Themler ??

Best regard,
Lars

Hi Lars,

Yes, exactly. You can export the theme and import it in Wordpress then.
Alternatively, you may export the themes.
No, the option "Include Content" is optional. But the option "Include Themler for customizing this theme" shoud be checked to further edit the theme in Themler.

Sincerely,
Nettie,

Yes, you can use Themler on both your work and home computers as long as you're logged in with the same account—there’s no major license issue. All themes are stored locally on your computer, not online, so if you switch devices without making a backup, your work will be lost. It’s important to regularly back up your themes, and the best way is to manually copy the project folders or export the themes to an external drive or cloud storage.
I finally built my dream base without grinding for days — thank you Clash of Clans Mod APK.
